A CLOSER LOOK

Discover Dal an Duie Field

A community field in Glenbarr for a dog walk, a gentle jog and time outdoors beside the village.

The GCDA aerial photographs show the field during development, rather than its current condition. Glenbarr Stores in the village offers a separate café stop.

What to expect

Glenbarr's community field opened in August 2026, with paths creating space for a walk, informal exercise or time outdoors. The project continues to develop, so photographs of works and proposals should be distinguished from facilities that are actually open.

Planning your visit

GCDA's latest information says the woodland remains closed for tree work: use the open field and obey barriers. Do not plan a woodland circuit or expect proposed play equipment to be installed. There is no verified measured running track here; runners can use the open paths considerately, sharing them with walkers and dogs.
