Browsing the guide
You do not need an account to browse places or plan a visit. The guide does not include advertising trackers or an analytics service. The hosting service may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and server logs, to deliver and protect the website.
Your saved places
When you choose to save a place, its listing identifier is stored in your browser’s local storage. This lets your shortlist remain available on that browser. It is not connected to a business account. When you open or change your shortlist, your browser sends the saved listing identifiers to the guide to retrieve their current public details. The application does not store a server-side shortlist; these requests may appear in hosting logs. Remove places using their heart buttons, or clear this website’s browser data to remove the entire shortlist.
Your trip planner
The trip planner runs in your browser using public listing information. Your dates, group details, children’s ages, access preferences and notes are not sent to an AI provider or stored in a server-side plan. Choosing Save on this device, or opening the selected accommodation’s booking link from a generated plan, stores one plan and its preferences in this browser’s local storage. It is not shared or synced across devices. Use Delete saved copy in the planner, or clear this website’s browser data, to remove it. Printed plans omit your personal notes and children’s ages. Map tiles and external booking links work as described below.
Maps and external links
Interactive maps request map tiles from OpenStreetMap. Your browser shares technical request information, including your IP address, with that service. Read the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy. We do not ask for your device’s location.
Business websites, booking services and travel information links are operated by their respective providers. Their privacy policies apply when you visit them. Reservations and payments are handled on those external websites. Supported freetobook widget links can transfer your chosen arrival date and length of stay when you follow the booking link; guest numbers are not transferred. Other booking links do not transfer the entered stay details. We do not currently collect booking-click analytics or receive booking confirmations.
Business accounts
Business sign-in uses essential session cookies. Account, ownership application and listing information is described in our business account privacy notice.
