We use your name and email to provide secure account access. Ownership applications also ask for your role, contact number and information that helps us verify your connection to the business.
Private account information
Application details are available to you and the guide’s administrator. Account sessions, application outcomes and an edit history are kept to manage access and resolve listing disputes. Sign-in uses an essential session cookie. The email delivery provider processes your email address to deliver sign-in links when delivery is connected.
Event submissions
Event submissions are linked to your account and reviewed by the administrator. Your private email is not published. Approved event titles, dates, venues, descriptions and organiser links appear in the public calendar. Review notes are visible to you and the administrator. Records and moderation history are retained to manage corrections and disputes; contact us to request deletion.
Membership enquiries
We store your name, reply email, business name, chosen package and message to respond to your enquiry. These details and internal follow-up notes are only available to the guide administrator. A one-way fingerprint of the request address is used to limit repeated submissions. An enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion.
Membership and application updates
Agreed membership dates, package and map-production progress are stored with your listing. Your email is used for sign-in and application decision notifications; review details remain in your account. Published gallery photos show their supplied credits. Unselected photos and expired membership galleries remain private to the owner and administrator.
Information shown to visitors
Fields labelled as public contact details, listing descriptions, opening hours, accessibility information, booking links and published photographs are visible in the guide. Your private sign-in email is not copied into the public contact field.
Your information
Contact hello@thekintyreguide.com to ask about access, corrections or deletion of your personal information. Business listing changes and personal-information requests are handled separately.
