Representing a business
Only apply for access if you are authorised to represent the business. We check ownership claims before enabling edits and may ask for further evidence through a published business contact.
Keeping information accurate
Approved owners can publish updates to their visitor information. Keep details current and describe facilities accurately. The guide retains control over inclusion, business identity, categories and listing visibility.
Submitting events
Submit only event details you are authorised to share, with confirmed dates and a public source. You give the guide permission to edit and display the submitted information. Events require editorial approval and may be declined or removed. Tell us promptly about cancellations or changes. Event links take visitors to the organiser; the guide does not sell event tickets.
Photographs
Only upload photographs you are authorised to share. By publishing one, you give The Kintyre Guide permission to store, resize, crop and display it with your listing. Include the required photographer or business credit.
Bookings
A booking link currently sends visitors to the business’s own booking service. The Kintyre Guide does not take payment or confirm a reservation. Any future booking service will have separate agreed terms before activation.
Membership enquiries and map features
The displayed membership prices are proposals for review. Submitting an enquiry does not purchase a package or reserve map space. The guide will agree the final price, membership dates, deliverables and payment arrangements with you before activation. Printed map features require an agreed placement, separate permission for print photographs and approval of the final artwork proof.
